My husband had this giant growth (bigger than basketball) on his inner thigh. He wanted to get it removed, but the insurance denied him (they felt it was cosmetic!!!)
Well, a few months later, this growth got super infected and it caused his entire system to get infected ("septic"), and he ended up in the intensive care unit (close to death) for 10 days. In addition to this health insurance, he also was a military vet. The military hospital had to cover the entire cost.
If he had been approved, this surgery would of been much less complicated and he would not have suffered so much.
What kind of attorney or law-firm covers coverage-denial?
I am hoping to find one that is "no win- no pay" because after all that happened, my husband lost a month or more of pay wages.
We don’t want to become millionaires — we just want lost wages for both of us, at least.
Veteran Hospital doctor advised him to go see his private insurance., by the way. And why the hell do we pay for insurance every paycheck if we can’t get coverage? Insurance said it wouldn’t cover because it was "cosmetic"!!!!!
Obviously it wasn’t if my husband got "SEPTIC SHOCK" (google that!)
There is nothing legal to do. Insurance companies have the discretion to deny or allow claims. If he was able to go to a military facility, he should have done that to start with (Not trying to be a wise acre, just telling it like the ins co sees it) Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. Now you know why millions of ppl die each year because they cant afford their medical bills.

If I wish to withdraw from the Value Options (Arizona) system, how can I do so without them trying to petition me? Do I retain a lawyer experienced in fighting the mental health industry?

We went to court 3 months ago to get our child support lowered and received added visitation for my husbands 8 year old son. We have been going to court back and fourth for 2 years now. The court gave us an estimated CS obligation of around 15-100$ after deductions. We are currently paying 323. one of the deductions was health insurance of which my husband can apply for through his work for 80 a week. Thats just for the childrens coverage….My question is, is there any way we can show rather than paycheck stubs that this amount is ungodly expensive, and that it can not be afforded? My step son has a medical card just like our other 2 children. That right there should show we can not afford insurance. At one time we were contacted about getting insurance on my 5 year old stepdaughter and they dropped it because she had a medical card, we had one on our child, and it showed that the health insurance cost would be too expensive. Im going to talk to our lawyer about this any suggestions on how to go about this? Anyone with similar situations have suggestions? please we just need help we are tryin to get away from being broke. Its not that we do not want to pay childsupport, we supply his son with everything he needs when it comes to school etc. Its just the fact that this childs mother does not work, and wants my husband to PAY for EVERYTHING "SHE" hence SHE does. What can we do??!!!!!
Sweetie….you would get better answers if you asked this in the Legal section. Good Luck.

Obama is a Lawyer of amending constitution and wants to pass health bill for his historical mark only.
Unconstitutionally? How?
And in case you don’t know, President Obama doesn’t need a health care bill to make his historical mark.
He’s already done that and then some.
next…

I’m not a lawyer, I am just a student who wants to learn to be a paralegal to put on my resume for law school. I put the Index of documents in file in front of the documents on the left, On the right side I have the client sheet on top, next the client card, then intake memo, then record of the case, then the conflict of interest card last. Is this correct? If not how do I set this up? I also have a time sheet; where do I put that? It’s a file for somebody who wants a will, durable power of attorney, and health care proxy made.
I would imagine that every attorney creates how they want to organize their files. Here is one case study:

After working for lawyers for 15 years, I’ve had enough of them and all the paper pushing. Unfortunately, very few jobs offer the same salary. I feel so stuck. I have to make what I make and no less, but at what cost to my mental health?! Any advice on transitioning?
Look up "Regulatory affairs in Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industries". It is a fast growing area and many universities offer certificate-level courses there.

Only in the US, no other country in the world but ours, allows trial lawyers to create frivolous law suits and not be accountable to compensate the defendant, if they lose the case. How can anyone who truly wants health care reform, support these cretins who prey upon tragedy for their own personal gain? They fill our courts with frivolous suits, they cause medical providers to carry HUGE insurance, force patients to have needless procedures and operations; they force medical givers to shut down or move because juries throw "lottery winning" awards, at these con artists. Insurance and drug industry attributes a great deal of their costs, to defend against these cretins. What a hypocite you are if you support trial lawyers and rail about health care costs! To most, we see you as practicing a staregy to break the backs of our economy, to replace our way of life with socialism and communism.
I expected liberals to ignore the question and claim the problem is corporations (your true enemy capitalism); you never dissapoint me.
Trial lawyers DO create false law suits, our society is highly litigous- thanks to liberals supporting trial lawyers.
Amen remember this

There was a major lawsuit against the tobacco industry for adding addictive junk, making it attractive to youngsters and literally destroying the lives of millions.
So what is so different about our food industry?
It adds addictive substances it entices youth to eat unhealthy foods. It places known carcinogens in the foods such as sugar and MSG. It’s advertising persuades thousands to overeat and become disabled. It manufactures the food in unhealthy ways such as frying rather than baking. It contributes to the high rate of heart attacks and cholesterol. Its advertising and marketing makes it almost imposable to parent children and direct their eating to more healthy foods. ETC., ETC.
Since it is so market driven, It causes difficulties in finding healthy food. When you finally do you have to pay outrageous prices at health food stores.
If there is some attorneys out there that wants to pursue this I am a willing client.
It makes total sense to me…
Count me in on the suit. I feel the food industry has gone way overboard and needs to be straightened out..
AND we need compensation for the damage they have done.

Due to a small misunderstanding with my dear lady wife, I urgently need to remove a roof tile from my back passage. If anyone else has had a similar experience I would be enormously grateful for their advice.
Separately, I would be interested to know the details of any good divorce lawyers, together with any advice on getting someone sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
I hear gale’s are good for removing roof tiles old boy, luckily I know a Gail (Close enough) I shall send her by your estate. A lively young filly she is too. Should prove a most entertaining afternoon’s fun for you old sport. Tip top
